Wrought Iron Fences

Timeless detail, real weight, and a serious boundary.

Wrought iron is what people picture when they picture a fence with presence. Solid pickets, heavy rails, scrollwork and finials that a stamped panel cannot imitate, all set in posts deep enough to carry the load.

It suits front boundaries, courtyards, and older buildings where the fence is part of the architecture. Kept coated, it holds its line and its finish for a very long stretch.

Solid pickets and heavy rails set in deep posts, which is why iron still fronts the properties that want a real boundary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does wrought iron need much upkeep?

Very little while the coating is intact. Touch up any chips and the run holds its finish and its line for a long stretch.

Can iron fence be made to match an old one?

Often, yes. We match picket spacing, rail height, and finial style closely enough that a new section reads as part of the original run.

Is iron a good choice around a pool?

It can be, with the right coating and hardware, though many pool enclosures go aluminum for the moisture. We will lay out both.

How heavy is a wrought iron gate?

Heavy enough that the hinge post and its footing have to be sized for it. That post is where an iron gate either holds its swing or slowly drops.

Can iron fence follow a sloped yard?

Stepped sections handle a slope cleanly and suit the formal look. On a gentle grade a raked panel can follow the ground instead, and we show you both on site.
